Air Force Set To Compete In Shangrila Shootout

The Falcons travel to Oklahoma this weekend to take part in the Shangrila Shootout.

The Air Force golf team continues its fall season this weekend, Oct. 23-24, as it travels to Monkey Island, Okla., for the 2004 Shangrila Shootout, hosted by Oral Roberts.

The Falcons were last in action less than a week ago when they took part in Nevada's Wolf Pack Invitational Oct. 18-19. Air Force finished in a tie for 12th in the rain-shortened tournament, led by sophomore Tyler Goulding (Tracy, Calif.), who shot an even 144 in the first two rounds, tying for 18th overall.

Following this weekend's tournament, Air Force has just one fall event on the schedule, the Troy Invitational, Nov. 8-9.
