The Air Force golf team heads to Las Vegas, Nev., this week, Oct. 9-10, to take part in the District 7 Shooutout, hosted by the University of Hawaii. The 54-hole tournament is being held at the 6,722-yard, par-71 Angel Park GC-Mountain Course. The first two rounds will be held on Monday, with the final round to be played on Tuesday.

The Falcons are led by senior Tyler Goulding, who finished tied for sixth place at last week's Wolf Pack Classic, firing a three-round score of 211 (-5).

Air Force is just one of 15 teams scheduled to compete in the tournament, as the field also includes Mountain West foes Colorado State, San Diego State, Utah and Wyoming.

Following this week's showing at the District 7 Shootout, the Falcons are back in action Oct. 23-24 at the 14th-annual Service Academy Golf Classic. There, they will seek their 12th-straight team title at the event.
