The Air Force golf team returns to action Sept. 24-25, at the Jim Colbert Intercollegiate, hosted by Kansas State. The 54-hole tournament, being played at the 7,525-yard, par-72 Colbert Hills Golf Course, is slated to begin with two rounds on Monday, starting at 8:30 a.m. The final round will begin at 8:30 on Tuesday morning.
Last Time Out...
Air Force took part in the annual William H. Tucker Invitational last week, finishing in 16th place. Leading the way for the Falcons was junior Shaun O'Bryant, who finished tied for 54th at 228. Senior Bob Whitney was next in the standings for Air Force, tied for 74th at 232, while Andrew Gibson, Jack Kasting and Tom Whitney all came in a stroke behind at 233.
The Field...
Ten teams are slated to compete in this year's invitational. The full list follows: Air Force, Akron, Army, Kansas State, Marquette, Miami (Ohio), Missouri State, New Mexico State, Northern Illinois and Richmond.

The Falcons head to Las Vegas, Nev., at the end of the week to take part in the Shootout at Angel Park, hosted by Hawaii.
