Westmoreland Moves Up in Regional Standings

Air Force's Kyle Westmoreland sits in a tie for 32nd place after two rounds at the 2013 NCAA Southwest Regional Golf Tournament at the Karsten Golf Course in Tempe, Ariz. Westmoreland, who was tied for 57th after the first round, fired a two-under par 68 on Friday.
The low five teams and the low individual not on those teams from each regional will advance to the finals.
The junior from Katy, Texas, posted five birdies and a pair of bogeys on Friday. He is currently seven shots behind the top individual not on one of the top five teams.
Greg Eason of Central Florida holds a six-shot lead after posting a seven-under par 63 on Friday, while UCLA leads the team competition by 11 strokes over UCF.
Round three of the competition tees off on Saturday, May 18 at 7:30 a.m. (PT). Westmoreland will tee off at 9:23 a.m. from the tenth hole with Jimmy Beck of Kennesaw State and Harley Abrams of Lehigh University. Live stats will be available at www.golfstat.com.
