Last Time Out...
Head Coach George Koury... In his first four seasons as head coach, Koury, a 1993 Academy graduate and former team captain and MVP, has helped the Falcons continue their dominance at the Service Academy Golf Classic. Air Force has now won the Reemtsma Trophy, given to the winner of the SAGC, for 12 straight seasons. In addition, Koury helped lead Air Force to the team title at last fall's Falcon Invitational, marking the first time since the inaugural event in 1969 that the team won its own tournament outright.

Falcons In the Record Book... Meanwhile, freshman Tom Whitney and senior Tyler Goulding have both made their marks on the individual record book this season. Goulding fired a personal-best 209 at the Ron Moore Invitational, tying for third place on the individual list, while Whitney finished at 210, tying for sixth in the record books, en route to medalist honors at the Service Academy Golf Classic. Goulding twice finished at 211 for the season, while Whitney also scored a 211 in the fall. Both Whitney and Goulding made impressions on the Air Force record book in other ways--Whitney's third-round score of 66 at Eisenhower is tied for the lowest in Air Force history. Meanwhile, Goulding has now shot 214 or better 13 times in his career, more than any other Air Force golfer.
