Struggles Continue for Air Force Golf Team

Turlock, CALIF. - (March 26-27) The Air Force men's golf team continued to struggle, as the Falcons finished in last place for the second straight tournament. Four of five golfers finished in the bottom 10 of the field, as Air Force placed 14th of 14 teams at the Colorado-Stevinson Ranch Invitational in Turlock, Calif. The team finished the 81 strokes behind tournament winner Kansas State, and 20 strokes behind the next closest team.

Team captian Ben Leestma had a decent outing, carding a three-round total of 229 (76-76-77) to finish in the top 20.

The Falcons will look to rebound in two weeks, when they head to Wichita, Kansas, for the Wichita State Invitational (April 9-10).
