    The Air Force golf team leads by four shots after the first two rounds of the Snowman Getaway Tournament at the Palm Valley Golf Club in Goodyear, Ariz. The Falcons, who equaled their season-best round of 276 (-12) in the first round, shot a one-under par 287 in the second round and are four shots ahead of Missouri-Kansas City.
     
    Individually, two Falcons are in the top 10 after 36 holes. Senior Kyle Westmoreland is in a tie for third place at -9 after shooting a 67 and 68 on Monday. His five-under par 67 tied his best round of the season. Fellow senior Jack Howard fired a pair of 69s on Monday and is tied for sixth at -6. Senior Philip Colwell is tied for 52nd after following up a three-under 69 in the first round with a 78 in the second round and is at +3, one shot ahead of freshman Andy Germann, who rebounded from a first-round 76 with an impressive even-par 72 in the afternoon.

    “It felt good to finally get back into competition,” said Air Force head coach George Koury. “We are proud of how all our guys represented us today. We are looking forward to the challenges tomorrow’s round presents.”
