Falcons Tied For Fourth After Two Rounds at UTEP Invitational

The Air Force golf team is in a tie for fourth place after two rounds of the Price’s Give ‘Em Five UTEP Invitational in El Paso, Texas. The Falcons were in second place after a season-best score of 12-under par 276 in the first round, then shot a one-over 289 in the second round for a two-round total of 565 (-11).
Sophomore Matthew Dunn leads the Falcons individually and is in a tie for 10th place with a five-under par total of 139. Dunn shot a career-best five-under par 67 in the first round, followed by an even-par 72 in the second round. Senior Philip Colwell is one shot back at 140 (16th place) after a career-low 66 in the first round which placed him in a tie for second place. Colwell fired a 74 in the second round.
Senior Jack Howard is tied for 27th place at even-par 144 after a pair of 72s on Friday. Fellow senior Kyle Westmoreland is tied for 37th with a two-over par 146 after a 75 and a 71 on Friday, while freshman Andy Germann is tied for 48th at 148.
