    The Air Force men's golf team sits in a tie for second place with Army after the first two rounds of the 2012 Service Academy Golf Classic Monday at the Trump National Golf Club in Colts Neck, N.J. The Falcons, in search of their 16th consecutive Service Academy title, have a two-round total of 603, six shots behind Navy.

    Air Force senior Andrew Hoops is tied for the individual lead with Anthony Kim of Army and Drew Selby of Navy. All three players have a two-round total of three-over par 147. Hoops led by one shot after the first round with a one-over par 71, then shot a four-over par 76 in the second round. Falcon junior Philip Colwell is three shots back in fifth place, while fellow juniors Todd Berglund and Kyle Westmoreland, the defending champion, are tied for eighth with a nine-over par total of 153.

    Air Force has not lost this tournament since 1994 and it was not played in 2007 and '08. The final round will be played Tuesday morning.
