U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – The Air Force golf team is in seventh place after day one of the Price’s “Give ‘Em Five” Invitational, Friday, Oct. 20, at the Butterfield Trail Golf Club in El Paso, Texas. The Falcons’ team score of 285 is the team’s second best round of the season and is 10 strokes better than Army’s 295. UTEP leads the 13-team field with a 275. Texas State is in second with a 276.
Junior Bryant Falconello led the way for Air Force with a three-under 69 to tie for ninth place overall. The 69 ties as the best round of his career. Tuner Howe’s one-under 71 has him in a tie for 18th while Tate Tatom shot a 72 to tie for 28th.
The second round begins at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21, at the Butterfield Trail Golf Club. The final 18 holes will be played on Sunday.
