Air Force Concludes Opening Day At Wolf Pack Classic

    Reno, Nev. - At the end of two rounds, the Air Force golf team currently sits in 14th place at the Wolf Pack Classic, hosted by Nevada at the 7,100-yard, par-72 Wolf Run Golf Course. The Falcons fired a first-day total of 596 on Monday, while Arizona sits atop the team leaderboard at 565 (-11). Iowa State's Joe Cermak leads the individuals after two rounds with a score of 139 (-5).

    Leading the Falcons on day one is sophomore Tom Whitney (La Quinta, Calif.), who sits just one stroke behind Cermak in a four-way tie for second place. Freshman Aaron White (Hereford, Texas), who fired a 71 in the second round, is next for Air Force, currently tied for 61st place. Rounding out the group for the Falcons are Shaun O'Bryant (Jr., Colorado Springs, Colo.), Andrew Gibson (Jr., San Ramon, Calif.) and Jack Kasting (Fr., Jenks, Okla.).

    The final round of the Wolf Pack Classic is slated to begin Tuesday morning at 8:00.
