Falcons Finish at Ram Masters Invite

    The Air Force golf team wrapped up play at the Ram Masters Invitational Tuesday at the Fort Collins Country Club. The Falcons finished in a tie for 14th place with a three-round total of 905 on the par-70, 7,121-yard course.

    Junior Kyle Westmoreland was the Falcons' top finisher, ending in a tie for 11th place after a third-round 74 gave him a three-round total of six-over par 216, six shots behind tournament champion Jordan Wetsch of host Colorado State. Senior Andrew Hoops finished in a tie for 52nd with a total of 226, while junior Philip Colwell tied for 61st at 228.

    Wichita State won the team title with a three-round total of 859, one shot better than Colorado State and two better than Nevada.

    The Falcons will play in the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational beginning next Monday, Sept. 24 in Erie, Colo.
