Falcons Finish First Day At Tucker Invitational

    Albuquerque, N.M. - At the end of two rounds, the Air Force golf team sits in 17th place at the William H. Tucker Invitational, being held at the 7,272-yard, par-72 UNM Championship Course. The Falcons fired a 619 on day one, while Pepperdine sits atop the leaderboard at 576. Pepperdine's Jesse Barnsley leads the individual standings at 133 (-11).

    Junior Shaun O'Bryant (Colorado Springs, Colo.) leads Air Force at the end of day one, currently tied for 54th place at 151. Andrew Gibson (Jr., San Ramon, Calif.) and Bob Whitney (Sr., La Quinta, Calif.) are tied at 156, while Tom Whitney (So., La Quinta, Calif.) sits a stroke behind at 157. Rounding out the group for the Falcons is Jack Kasting (Fr., Jenks, Okla.) at 162.

    The final round of the Tucker Invitational is slated to begin tomorrow morning at 7:30.
