Westmoreland Tied For 24th After Two Rounds at Regionals

Air Force's Kyle Westmoreland sits in a tie for 24th place after two rounds at the 2014 NCAA Regional Golf Tournament at the Eugene Country in Eugene, Ore. Westmoreland, who was tied for second after the first round, fired a nine-over par 79 on Friday.
The low five teams and the low individual not on those teams from each of the six regionals will advance to the NCAA Division I Championships.
After making four birdies and just one bogey on Thursday, the senior from Katy, Texas, started his round on Friday with a bogey and double-bogey and did not post a birdie the entire round. He is currently seven shots behind the top individual not on one of the top five teams.
The final round of the competition tees off on Saturday, May 17 at 7:30 a.m. (PT). Westmoreland will tee off at 9:53 a.m. with Steven Kupcho of Northern Colorado and Byron Meth of Pacific.
