Falcons Finish 17th at Cowboy Classic

The Air Force men's golf team shot an 11-over par 291 in the final round to finish in 17th place at the 2013 Cowboy Classic, hosted by the University of Wyoming, in Scottsdale, Ariz. The Falcons finished with a two-round total of 602 on the par-70, 7,133-yard Talking Stick North Golf Course.
Junior Jack Howard led the Falcons on Tuesday, firing a 71 in the final round for a two-round total of seven-over par 147. He finished in a tie for 25th overall, five spots ahead of senior Andrew Hoops, who shot a 73 on Tuesday for a two-round total of 149. Junior Kyle Westmoreland tied for 56th at 151 after a 74 on Tuesday, while junior Philip Colwell tied for 100th (158) and sophomore Blake Edwards tied for 111th (160). Junior Todd Berglund, playing as an individual, tied for 116th with a two-round total of 162
The Falcons play their final regular season tournament April 26-27 at the PING Cougar Golf Classic in Provo, Utah.
