Falcons in 19th Place After Two Rounds at Cowboy Classic

    Results After Two Rounds Get Acrobat Reader

    The Air Force golf team sits in 19th place after the first two rounds of the University of Wyoming Cowboy Classic in Scottsdale, Ariz. The Falcons have a 34-over par total of 594 after a first round of 292 and second round of 302. The University of Oklahoma leads the tournament at even par 560.

    Individually, freshman Sunwoo Choi leads the Falcons among the team players and is tied for 48th place at six-over par (146) after shooting a career-best one-under par 69 in the first round and a seven-over par 77 in the second round. Senior Kyle Westmoreland is tied for 58th place at eight-over par 148, followed by senior Philip Colwell (T, 79th), senior Jack Howard (T, 88th) and freshman Andy Germann (T, 95th).

    Senior Todd Berglund, playing as an individual, had the best day for the Falcons, firing a pair of 72s for a total of four-over par 144, good for a tie for 34th place.

    Tuesday’s third and final round is scheduled to begin at 7:30 a.m. (PT).
