Falcons Wrap Up Opening Day at Morris Williams Intercollegiate

    AUSTIN, Texas - Competing against eight of the top 20 teams in the nation, the Air Force golf team currently sits in 18th place at the Morris Williams Intercollegiate, hosted by Texas at the par-71, 7,412-yard University of Texas Golf Club. The Falcons combined for a score of 637 in the first two rounds.

    On day one, junior Tom Whitney (La Quinta, Calif.) leads the Falcons, tied for 47th place at 153 (+11), followed by senior Shaun O'Bryant (Colorado Springs, Colo.), tied for 83rd with a score of 161. Kyle Bailey (So., Austin, Texas) is in 90th place after two rounds with a score of 163, while Andrew Gibson (Sr., San Ramon, Calif.) and Aaron White (So., Hereford, Texas) sit a stroke behind in a tie for 91st place.

    Third-ranked Oklahoma State leads in the team standings with a score of 569, while USC's Tom Glissmeyer sits atop the individual leaderboard with a two-round total of 139 (-3).

    The final round of the Morris Williams Intercollegiate is set to begin tomorrow morning.
