Falcons Wrap Up First Day At CU-Stevinson Ranch Invitational

    Stevinson, Calif. - With the completion of the first two rounds, the Air Force golf team sits in 13th place at the CU-Stevinson Ranch Invitational, hosted by Colorado at the par-72, 7,206-yard Stevinson Ranch Golf Club. Wichita State sits atop the team leaderboard at 572 (-4), paced by Cameron Bishop who leads in the individual standings at 139 (-5).

    The Falcons, who turned in a score of 616 (+40) on the opening day of the tournament, are currently led by senior Tyler Goulding (Tracy, Calif.). Goulding, who fired a 69 in the first round, is tied for sixth place with at an even-par 144. Junior Bob Whitney (La Quinta, Calif.) is next for Air Force, tied for 44th at 154, while sophomore Shaun O'Bryant (Colorado Springs, Colo.) is in a tie for 61st place at 158. Rounding out the group for the Falcons are Chad Follett (Sr., El Paso, Texas) and Andrew Gibson (So., San Ramon, Calif.). Follett is in 74th place at 163, while Gibson is two strokes behind in a tie for 75th place.

    The final round of the CU-Stevinson Ranch Invitational is slated to begin tomorrow with a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m. (PT).
