Falcons in 10th Place After Two Rounds at Desert Shootout

    Round Two Results Get Acrobat Reader

    The Air Force men’s golf team sits in 10th place after two rounds of the 2013 Desert Shootout in Goodyear, Ariz. The Falcons backed up a two-over par 286 in the first round on Thursday with a three-over par 287 in the second round on Friday at the par 71, 6,925-yard Palm Valley Golf Club.

    Senior Andrew Hoops, who tied his career-low round with a 68 on Thursday, fired a one-over par 72 on Friday and is in tied for 11th place with a two-under par total of 140. Junior Jack Howard is tied for 32nd with a one-over par total of 143 (73-70), while fellow junior Philip Colwell (T40, 144) and Kyle Westmoreland (T51, 146) and sophomore Blake Edwards (T76, 150) round out the scoring roster.

    Junior Todd Berglund, playing as an individual, is in 89th place with a two round total of 152.

    The final round of the Desert Shootout will begin at 7:30 a.m. (PT) on Saturday.
