Air Force Finishes Tied For 13th At USF Triumph

    Pauma Valley, Calif. - Shooting a 304 in the final round, the Air Force golf team finished tied for 13th place at the USF Triumph, being held at the par-71, 7,077-yard Pauma Valley Country Club. St. Mary's, led by individual medalist Mike McRae, took the team championship, finishing at 853 (+1).

    The Falcons tallied a three-round score of 905 (+53) for the tournament and were led by Tyler Goulding (Sr., Tracy, Calif.) and Shaun O'Bryant (So., Colorado Springs, Colo.). Goulding, who fired an even-par 71 in the final round, finished the tournament with a 222, tying for 29th place along with O'Bryant. Chad Follett (Sr., El Paso, Texas) and Andrew Gibson (So., San Ramon, Calif.) both ended with a final score of 233, tying for 67th place, while junior Matt Tanis (Asbury, N.J.) finished tied for 78th at 245.

    Air Force is back in action next week, March 19-20, when they head to Phoenix, Ariz., for the Ron Moore Invitational, hosted by Denver.
