Air Force in 15th Place at Southern Highlands

    Las Vegas, Nev. - With two rounds under wraps, the Air Force golf team sits in 15th place at the Southern Highlands Collegiate Championship, being held at the 7,510 yard, par-72 Southern Highlands Golf Club. The Falcons are currently 58-over-par, firing a 315 on Saturday.

    Leading the way for Air Force after two rounds is junior Shaun O'Bryant (Colorado Springs, Colo.), currently tied for 57th at 155, while sophomore Tom Whitney (La Quinta, Calif.) sits one stroke behind in a tie for 60th place.

    Rounding out the group for the Falcons are junior Andrew Gibson (San Ramon, Calif.), freshman Kyle Bailey (Austin, Texas) and senior Bob Whitney (La Quinta, Calif.), in 76th, 78th and 79th place, respectively.

    Top-ranked Georgia moved into first place in the team standings with a 2-under-par 574, led by Hudson Swafford, who sits atop the individual leaderboard at 136 (-8).

    The final round of the Southern Highlands Collegiate Championship begins tomorrow with an 8:00 a.m. (PT) start.
