LaCoste led the Falcons in rushing with 890 yards and six touchdowns. He averaged 74.2 yards per game and 6.6 yards per carry. He became the 41st player in school history to top the 1,000-yard mark for his career and ranks 40th in school history with 1,055 yards. His 7.0 career rushing average is the fourth-best in Air Force history. He set an Academy record for yards in consecutive games with 440, doing it in 10 less carries than the previous mark. He rushed for 263 yards, the second-most in AFA history, while becoming the only player in school history with two runs of 70-plus yards in a game to lead the Falcons to a 42-28 win vs. Army. He came back with a 21-carry, 177-yard effort vs. New Mexico to set the record.
Husar, Jr., returned from a season-ending knee injury last year to anchor the offensive line this season. He led the team in knockdown blocks with 70 - the first center in the Calhoun era (2007-present) to do so. Husar, Jr. worked with four different starting quarterbacks this season and helped lead an offensive line that had allowed just nine quarterback sacks which is second in the MW and seventh in the nation.
