    USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force football cornerback Reggie Rembert was one of five Mountain West Conference football players to earn 2010 All-American honors from the Associated Press. The senior earned third-team All-American honors. Rembert is Air Force's first AP All-American since Chris Gizzi in 1997.

    TCU's Tejay Johnson earned first-team accolades, while TCU's Jake Kirkpatrick and Tank Carder were second-team selections. Rembert and Utah's Caleb Schlauderaff earned third-team honors from the AP.

    Rembert, a native of Flower Mound, Texas, is tied for third in the MWC with three interceptions and ranks second in the Conference in passes defended with a 1.00 per-game average. He has picked up numerous accolades this season, recently earning NFLPA Military Academy Player of the Year honors and being named First Team All-American by the American Football Coaches Association.

    In addition, Rembert was named mid-season All-American by CollegeFootballNews.com and was a nominee for the Hornung Award and the Lowe's Senior CLASS Award.
