Calhoun hosts press conference as Air Force prepares to take on nationally-ranked BYU

Press Conference 

Air Force closes out the regular season this week at #19/18 BYU. Air Force is 2-3 on the road this season. The Falcons won their last road game, a 34-16 win at Colorado State Oct. 31. Air Force is 2-0 this season and 7-2 since 2007 in the month of November. Both losses came at the hands of nationally ranked teams last season. No. 16/18 BYU defeated Air Force, 38-24, and No. 15/17 TCU beat the Falcons, 44-10.

BYU leads the overall series, 23-6, and holds a 20-6 mark in conference meetings. BYU has won five straight games in the series dating back to Air Force's last win, 24-10, in Provo in 2003. The teams first played Nov. 24, 1956, in Provo. The Cougars won the game, 34-21. Air Force and BYU each won conference games last week. Air Force defeated UNLV, 45-17, at home while BYU beat New Mexico, 24-19, on the road.

Air Force head coach Troy Calhoun discussed the game and Air Force's season at his weekly teleconference this week at the Air Force Academy.
