Cobb & Strickland Earn CFPA Performer of the Week Honors

Air Force senior running back Wes Cobb and senior wide receiver Dontae Strickland earned College Football Performance Awards player of the week honors for their performance against Nevada. Both Cobb and Strickiland earned honorable mention All-Purpose.

Cobb, a Houston, Texas, native set career highs with 30 carries for 152 yards rushing. The running back also scored a touchdown. After rushing for just 66 yards in his first five games, Cobb has racked up 293 yards over the last three.

Strickland, a Kansas City, Mo., native racked up 114 total yards and two touchdowns. Strickland rushed for 46 yards on five carries, including a 19-yard touchdown run. The senior also hauled in two catches for 68 yards, including a 46-yard touchdown reception.
