Calhoun hosts press conference as Air Force prepares to travel to No. 19/20 Utah

Air Force travels to Salt Lake City, Utah, this week to take on No. 19/20 Utah on Saturday, Oct. 24, at 2 p.m. Air Force is playing a nationally ranked team for the second time in three weeks. This week's game marks the first of two straight conference road games for Air Force. The Falcons play at Colorado State Oct. 31. Air Force is 14-6 in conference games since 2007, including a 6-3 mark in conference road games. Air Force and Utah have split the last two meetings with each team winning on the road. The Falcons defeated Utah, 20-12, in 2007 in Salt Lake City, while the Utes were 30-23 winners in Falcon Stadium last year. Air Force leads the overall series 14-11, including a 7-6 mark in Salt Lake City. Air Force snapped a four-game Utah winning streak with its 20-12 victory in 2007. The Falcons have won two of the last four meetings played at Utah. Air Force and Utah each won last week. The Falcons defeated Wyoming, 10-0, in Falcon Stadium while Utah won, 35-15, at UNLV. Air Force head coach Troy Calhoun discussed the game and Air Force's season at his weekly teleconference this week at the Air Force Academy.
