Air Force signs 104.3 The Fan as Denver radio affiliate

    The Air Force IMG Sports Network and Lincoln Financial Media have agreed to a multi-year affiliation agreement with Sports Radio 104.3 The Fan in Denver, Colorado.

    KKFN-FM (104.3) will carry all Air Force football game broadcasts beginning in 2012, plus a weekly interview featuring Air Force Head Football Troy Calhoun.

    "Sports Radio 104.3 The Fan is thrilled to team with the Air Force Academy to bring every game to its fans in Denver," said Nate Lundy, KKFN Program Director. "Our partnership with the Academy and Coach Troy Calhoun will guarantee college football fans have an unmatched connection to the Falcons for the next several years."

    In addition to each Falcon game broadcast, The Fan will also carry the pre and post-game shows. Air Force kicks off the 2012 season against Idaho State on Saturday, Sept. 1, at Falcon Stadium in Colorado Springs.

"The partnership with The Fan will help us reach our fans in Denver and gives us much wider distribution in our great state for Air Force football games.     The Air Force IMG Sports Network is part of IMG College Audio, the nation's largest independent sports radio network producing nearly 30,000 hours of intercollegiate sports programming each year. IMG College manages and markets all rights associated with TV and coaches' shows, radio, coaches' endorsements, corporate sponsorships, stadium and venue signage, game promotions, hospitality, Internet, and printing and publishing for the Air Force Academy. The Academy has been a partner of IMG College's licensing affiliate, The Collegiate Licensing Company since 1991.
