Air Force football practice starts Monday, Aug. 3

    The Air Force football team opens 2009 fall practices Monday, Aug. 3, at 8:40 a.m. at the practice fields located behind the Cadet Field House. The team's practices are open to the public each day prior to the beginning of the season with the following guidelines. Those watching practices are not allowed to text message, blog or report (including injuries) on anything that happens during a weekday practice. Only the first three periods of practice are open for photography/video to the media only. Failure to following these guidelines will result in closing future practices. Once the team hits game week, Monday, Aug. 31, practices are open Monday through Wednesday.

    Monday, Aug. 3, 8:40 to 10:45 a.m.

    Tuesday, Aug. 4, 8:40 to 10:45 a.m.

    Wednesday, Aug. 5, 8:40 to 10:45 a.m.

    Thursday, Aug. 6, 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. (classes start, all weekday practices will be from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.)

    Saturday practices are tentatively scheduled for 9:30 a.m.

    If you go: Enter the north gate entrance of the Academy
