June 8, 2018

Rob (Larry) Hufford, a 2006 Air Force Academy graduate, was a two year starter for the Air Force football team in 2004 and 2005. After putting in two tours in Iraq, he was diagnosed with post-traumatic stress that gave him seizures so a piece of his brain had to be removed. He is also epileptic. A civil engineer in the Air Force, he retired from active duty as a captain. This week he returned to his alma mater as part of the Air Force team at the 2018 Warrior Games. He broke the shot put record to win gold in the event and added a second gold in power lifting. Watch his inspiring story.
