Jordan Wilson, who was scheduled to attend the Air Force Academy Prep School later this summer, passed away Sunday night in an automobile accident in his hometown of Conroe, Texas. Wilson, 17, played both offensive and defensive line and was the district most valuable player.

"The Air Force Academy lost an outstanding officer candidate with the passing of Jordan Wilson from Conroe, TX. Jordan was exactly what the Air Force seeks in future 2nd Lieutenants who serve on active duty. He was bright, industrious, and both respectful and respected. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and the wonderful soul that will always be Jordan Wilson," said Air Force head football coach Troy Calhoun.
