Air Force places 33 on academic all-MWC fall team

The Air Force Academy has 33 student-athletes named to the 2007 Fall Academic All-Mountain West Conference team, released today by the conference office. Air Force's 33 honorees ranked the Academy seventh in the conference. The men's cross country led the Academy with 10 student-athletes named, followed by women's soccer with eight, football seven, women's volleyball six and women's cross country three.

BYU led the conference with 74 student-athletes named to the team, followed by New Mexico (53), Utah (47), UNLV (43), Wyoming (34), Air Force (33) and Colorado State and San Diego State with 26 each.
