To The Falcon Football Pride Club:

In five years your commitment to help support the Air Force Falcon Football team has made a significant impact.  Person by person and year by year the Pride Club has rapidly developed to unify those who are close to Falcon Football.  The Pride Club is based upon dual principles of creating a special camaraderie in addition to providing a conduit to give directly to Air Force Football for projects that help the program.

Last year -- with your support -- we were able to accomplish the following:

    1)  Updated the Heritage Hallway entrance by adding graphics and checkered tiles
    2)  Created a "Roll Call" wall that lists the seniors on each Fightin' Falcons football team
    3)  Updated Hall of Fame wall to include Lt Col Scott Thomas
    4)  Updated Leaders wall
    5)  Purchased new ice machine for locker room
    6)  Updated bowl history to include the Military Bowl

As we enter our sixth year of the FFPC, more exciting events and projects are planned for the 2012 season.

Introduction of Pride In Numbers - A new initiative for this year is the program called Pride in Numbers (PIN). With the help of Neal Starkey ('68) and Ted Sundquist ('84), Pride In Numbers goal is to create a support group within the Falcon Football Pride Club that identifies former Falcons with current & future cadet football players. This support group will be tied uniquely by the jersey number worn past and present. This "Vertical" linkage is directly complimentary to the "Horizontal" linkage we all feel as members of the "Long Blue Line." Detailed information and jersey ordering instructions are listed above.

1st Annual Falcon Pride Club Golf Tournament - We would like to introduce the 1st Annual Falcon Pride Club Golf Tournament. With the help and initiative from Colby Hoefar ('95) and Kent Hennings ('94) the FFPC is hosting a golf tournament on 5 October at Eisenhower Golf Course. It will be a great chance to get out on the course and catch up with your former teammates and then head to Falcon Stadium the next day to watch the Falcons take on Navy! To register, please click here and login with your DonorNet account.  Once logged in, click the special events tab.

Adding to Falcon Football Legacy Wall at the Stadium - The Falcon Football Legacy Wall includes plaques running the length of the west side of the second level at Falcon Stadium. Each class is represented with a bronze plaque bearing the names of that year's graduating team members and some of the team's history for that season. Already unveiled are the classes of '59 -'70, '75 -'76, '78 -'79, '81-'82, '85 -'91 and '99. The classes of '72 and '92 are very close to getting their plaque funded and will soon join the legacy wall. If a class is able to raise $7000 by 28 SEP 2012, they will also have their plaques unveiled on alumni weekend.  View current status and balance of paid dollars for each class by clicking here or by calling 719.333.9538.

Falcon Football Alumni Weekend - Falcon Football Alumni Weekend will be held during the Air Force vs. Hawai'i game on November 16th. We will be recognizing all alumni at halftime and also dedicate all the new class plaques that will be going up on the wall. Ticket and event details will become available soon and sent out.

The season kicks off on September 1st, but there are plenty of weights to lift and work to do prior to the fall.   Thanks again for your support of the Academy and Air Force Football. Air Force Football will continue to develop outstanding leaders who serve our nation on active duty and beyond. Help us get the word out to fellow players, managers, parents and coaches to sign up for their 2012 Falcon Football Pride Club membership here or by calling 719.333.9538.

    Go Falcons!
