Brian Schneider enters his first season as an assistant coach at the Air Force Academy.

Schneider comes to the Academy from Iowa State, where he coached the tight end's and special teams for the Cyclones in 2006.

Prior to his stint at Iowa State, Schneider spent three years (2003-05) as an assistant coach at UCLA where he coached the linebackers, safeties and special teams.

A 1994 graduate of Colorado State University, Schneider lettered in football for the Rams and later coached at his alma mater.

Schneider got his coaching start under CSU's Sonny Lubick as a graduate assistant in 1994 and was promoted to assistant coach from 1995-2002.
