2002 Wing Open Boxing Championships
    A Salute To Coach Eddie Weichers And Twenty-Five Years

    Coach Eddie Weichers, the only hired boxing coach/coordinator ever at the United States Air Force Academy, will be celebrating the anniversary of HIS 25th Wing Open Boxing Championship 1-3 March 2002 at the Air Force Academy. The headquarters for this prestigious event will be the beautiful Wyndham Colorado Springs. The Wyndham has given us a great room rate of $65 per night for your stay. The agenda will be festive, with the Wing Open Saturday afternoon 2 March with a dinner sit-down banquet the same evening at the Wyndham. Registration will be $80 per person. Registration fee will include the Saturday banquet, the Friday evening party with heavy h'ordouvres, a commemorative polo shirt, and other goodies.

    Local residents who are interested in attending only the banquet on Saturday should contact Al Wile at Al.Wile@usafa.af.mil or call 528-8126. The cost is $30 per person. If residents wish to also attend Friday night's reception, the cost is an additional $10.
