USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - The "Dirty Dozen" of the Air Force boxing team heads to Las Vegas, Nev., for the 2007 National Collegiate Boxing Association Western Regional Championships on March 29-31. The three-day meet begins Thursday (March 29) with the quarterfinal round of action.

Air Force has claimed 26 of the last 27 regional titles. Its only stumble in perfection came at the 2006 meet, when UNLV edged out the Falcons. At that meet, Air Force collected two gold, six silver and four bronze medals.

The top two contenders from each regional site, as well as several at-large competitors, will advance to the NCBA National Championships, which will be held April 12-14 at the El Dorado Hotel and Casino in Reno, Nev.
