Wing Open Quarterfinals Moved to Feb. 15


    USAF ACADEMY, Colo. -- The date of the Air Force boxing Wing Open quarterfinals has been changed. The tournament's first round of competition, originally scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 16, has been moved up one day to Wednesday, Feb. 15. The match will still begin at 4:30 p.m., in the Upper Boxing Room of the Cadet Gym.

    The winners of the quarterfinal bouts will move forward to the tournament semifinals on Wednesday, Feb. 22. The champions of that round will advance to the annual Wing Open Championships on Friday, March 3, at 7 p.m., in the Cadet Field House's Clune Arena.

    Admission is free for all three rounds of the Wing Open Tournament.
