Falcons Post Perfect Night at NCBA Showcase

    NEW YORK, N.Y. - The Air Force boxing team posted a perfect 3-0 record against its counterparts from Army during the National Collegiate Boxing Association (NCBA) Showcase on Monday, Nov. 21, in New York, N.Y.

    Senior Casey Habluetzel defeated Nick Trofimoff in the 165-pound contest, while classmate Tyrus Korecki decisioned Paul Bryant at 156 pounds. Fellow senior Mike McLain concluded the night with a victory over Ryan Johnson, the defending NCBA national champion, at 175 pounds.

    The Falcons return to the Academy on Dec. 2 for another round of Friday Night Fights. Action begins at 4:30 p.m., in the Cadet Gym Boxing Room.
