Joe Silvio Opens Action at NCBA Regional Meet

    SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - With just one bout on the card for the Air Force boxing team, junior Joe Silvio got the Falcons started off right with a victory at the National Collegiate Boxing Association (NCBA) West Regional Championships on Thursday, March 18, in San Francisco, Calif. Competing in one of the 156-pound quarterfinal bouts, Silvio claimed a decision of San Jose State's Samuel Habid.

    The Falcons continue regional action tomorrow evening (March 19) in San Francisco.
