    Falcons Return to Action with Friday Night Fights

    Denis Vorobyov was named the Academy's Boxer of the Week.

    2012: Wing Open runner up at 175 pounds...earned the team's Boxer of the Week award following the Oct. 15 Friday Night Fights...split the regular season with a 2-2 record...2011: Wing Open runner-up at 175 pounds...collected a 2-3 regular season record...earned the Academy's Boxer of the Week award following the Oct. 15 round of Friday Night Fights.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Sebastian River High School (Florida)...four-year letterwinner in wrestling...served as co-captain as a senior...lettered two years in cross country...earned MVP honors...also lettered one year in track and field...maintained a 4.05 GPA...honor student...member of the National Honor Society.
