Ben Fox Earns Boxer of the Week Honors

Freshman Ben Fox highlighted five champions during the Air Force boxing team's Nov. 20 round of Friday Night Fights. The night featured one member of the intercollegiate squad and nine first-year boxers. One week after defeating Army in NCBA action, the Air Force boxing team returned to intra-wing competition with another successful round of Friday Night Fights on Nov. 13. The contest, scheduled for 4:30 p.m., on Friday, Nov. 6, at the Academy's Cadet Gym Boxing Room, will now feature 13 bouts, including one featuring sophomore Colorado Springs native Logan Brandt. Air Force Set to Host Army in Annual Showdown

The Air Force boxing team will host defending national champion and service academy rival Army in its annual showdown on Friday, Nov. 6. The two academies will send 22 boxers into ring of the Cadet Gym Boxing Room for 11 bouts, ranging from 130 pounds to the heavyweight division. Admission is free to the Falcons' showdown with the Black Knights. [+]

With a card that featured 12 first-time contenders, the Air Force boxing team concluded another successful round of Friday Night Fights on Oct. 30 at the Academy. Although the first four bouts showcased some of the Falcons' veteran boxers, five of the final six bouts included newcomers in both corners. [+]
