Air Force Kicks Off Wing Open Tournament with Three Bouts

Three hard-hitting bouts signaled the start of the 52nd Wing Open Tournament for the Air Force boxing team this afternoon (Feb. 18) in the Academy's Upper Boxing Room. Spots in three different weight classes were determined, as the boxers vied for a spot in the semifinal bracket. Freshman Jake Alleman was named the Academy's Boxer of the week, as he won an advancing bout at 175 pounds. [+]

Falcons Wrap Up Regular Season with Strong Showing at NCBA Invitational

Highlighted by seven victories, the Air Force boxing team wrapped up the regular season late Friday night (Feb. 6) with an impressive showing at the National Collegiate Boxing Association Invitational in Reno, Nev. The Falcons, competing against several West Coast teams, finished the night with a 7-4 record. [+]
