Colorado defeated Air Force, 75-68, Dec. 19 in Clune Arena. Xavier Johnson scored 14 points to lead five Buffs in double figures as Colorado won for the seventh straight time in the series. Colorado hit 54 percent from the field, including 41.7 percent from 3-point territory. Colorado built a 13-point second half lead, but Air Force cut the lead to five points twice, the last coming with just over a minute to play, but couldn’t get any closer. George King scored 13 points, Derrick White 12 and Deleon Brown and Wesley Gorden 10 each for the Buffs.
Air Force was led by CJ Siples, who scored a season-high 15 points. Hayden Graham added 12 points and a team-high nine rebounds while Zach Kocur chipped in with 12 points. The Falcons out-rebounded Colorado, 38-33, and forced 16 turnovers, but hit just 36.1 percent from the field.

Colorado defeated Air Force, 81-70, Nov. 25 in Boulder. The win was the sixth straight for Colorado in the series.
The Buffs used a 19-6 run to close the first half and take a 46-30 halftime lead. Colorado led by as many as 26 early in the second half before Air Force closed the gap late to make up the final margin. Colorado Springs native Josh Scott scored 21 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead Colorado. Josh Fortune added 18 points and George King 16 for the Buffs, who hit 52.1 percent from the field, including 52.0 percent from beyond the arc.
Air Force shot just 41.9 percent from the field, but hit a season-high 10 3-pointers and finished hitting 45.5 percent from distance. The Falcons were led by Zach Moer, who scored a career-high 13 points. Zach Kocur added a season-high 12 points, six rebounds and a career-best six assists. Hayden Graham added 11 points and a team-high eight rebounds.

Air Force ranks fifth nationally in free throw percentage with an 82.8 mark. The Falcons have hit 82-99 this season. Air Force hit a season-high 92.7 percent vs. Canisius, hitting 38-41. The percentage is the 11th best in school history and best since shooting 94.1 percent vs. Colorado College on Nov. 17, 2010. The 38 made free throws is just four off the school record of 42 set vs. Navy Dec. 6, 1993.
Air Force has two players that are perfect for the season. Lavelle Scottie (14-14) and Ryan Manning (12-12) are each tied for the conference and national lead at 1.000 percent. Jacob Van follows close behind at 90.9 percent (10-11).
