First Annual All-Military Classic
The Air Force Falcons open their 2011-12 season by hosting the first annual All-Military Classic, Nov. 11-12 at Clune Arena. The Falcons will play service-academy rival Army on Friday, Nov. 11 at 7:30, followed by VMI and Citadel at 10 p.m. The third-place game is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12, followed by the championship game. Both games on Friday will be televised nationally on CBS Sports Network.
This is the first of a four-year contract for the tournament, with each school hosting once. Citadel will host in 2012, VMI in `13 and Army in `14. The tournament will be played each year during Veteran's Day weekend.

Still a Great Record at Clune

Since the beginning of the 2003-04 season, Air Force has won 95 of its 125 home games, good for a .760 winning percentage. In addition, the Falcons have won 40 of their 64 Mountain West games at Clune during that same stretch (.625 pct).
Mountain West / Missouri Valley Challenge
The 2011-12 edition of the MWC/MVC Challenge is the third in a four-year agreement between the Mountain West and Missouri Valley Conferences. Eight Challenge games will be played this year, and each conference will host a total of 18 games in the four-year period. Illinois State and Southern Illinois will be the Valley teams that do not participate in the 2011 Challenge Series. Below is a listing of the 2011-12 MW/MVC Challenge contests:

Air Force Fifth in MW Last Eight

Air Force is one of only four teams in the conference to have at least a .500 record in at least six of the last eight seasons (UNLV (8); New Mexico (7), San Diego State, Air Force (6)).
All-Time Series vs. All-Military Classic Opponents
Air Force is 1-2 all-time against Army and has never played Citadel or VMI. This will be the first meeting between Air Force and Arny at the Air Force Academy.
