Air Force takes time out before opening season with first practice
Oct. 1, 2017

The Air Force men’s basketball team took time out to spend some time in the Colorado Springs community before opening practice last weekend. The team participated in the Dream to Read program for the 16th straight year, this time spending time at Talbott Elementary School. The team spends time every year volunteering to participate in a non-profit program which promotes early literacy by fostering positive interaction between progressive role models and at-risk youth. This year the team had 12 players volunteer to participate in the Dream to Read program which facilitates the value of literacy in around 50 students in the third grade.
