Antoine Hood Named to NABC All-District 13 Team

Air Force senior Antoine Hood has been named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-District 13 second-team.

Hood currently leads the team in scoring and is sixth in the Mountain West Conference, averaging 14.3 points per game. He tied his season-high with 23 points in the Falcons' 63-45 victory over TCU last Wednesday. Hood is also ranked in the top 10 in the league in steals (7th with 1.62/game), field-goal percentage (8th at 52.6%) and assists (9th with 2.69/game).

The 6-4 guard from Sugar Land, Texas, who has been a part of Air Force's three winningest seasons in school history, is eighth on AFA's career scoring list with 1,218 points and second on the school's list for games played in a career with 113.

Selected and voted on by member coaches of the NABC, the 150 student-athletes from 15 districts are now eligible for the NABC Division I All-American Team to be announced at the conclusion of the 2005-06 season.

The Falcons are 21-5 overall and 9-4 in the MWC, good for sole possession of second place in the conference.
