    Air Force defeated Utah, 69-43, Wednesday at Clune Arena. Colorado State downed TCU, 82-66, on Tuesday in Fort Collins, Colo.

    Coaches
    Air Force is coached by Jeff Bzdelik (Illinois-Chicago, 1976), who is in his second season as head coach. Bzdelik returned to the college game last year after 15 seasons as a coach and scout in the NBA, most recently as head coach of the Denver Nuggets. Bzdelik has a collegiate career record of 71-42, including a 46-11 mark at Air Force. Bzdelik was the head coach at UMBC for two years from 1986-88. Colorado State is coached by Dale Layer (Eckerd College, 1980), who is in his seventh season with the Rams. He is 101-102 at the school and has a 268-189 career record in 15+ seasons.

    CSU leads the all-time series, 61-26. Air Force defeated Colorado State, 81-75, earlier this season in Fort Collins in the MWC opener for each team. The Falcons have won five straight games against CSU.
