DENVER (AP) Zach Moer scored 15 points, and Air Force survived a frantic finish to hold off Denver 61-59 on Saturday.

Moer's jumper with 5:36 to play gave Air Force (6-2) the lead for good at 51-50. Jake Pemberton made two free throws for Denver to cut the deficit to 58-56 with 1:14 remaining. The Falcons' Kyle Broekhuis missed a layup with 50 seconds left.

Nate Engesser's 3 with eight seconds left made it 60-59.

Moer made one-of-two free throws with six seconds remaining, but Engesser turned the ball over as time expired.

In the Air Force win, forward Hayden Graham logged 37 minutes and recorded two steals and nine rebounds. For Denver (5-3), Engesser finished with 20 points but also had four turnovers.
