USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force baseball begins the three-game 2012 Blue/White Series this weekend at Falcon Field. The Falcons will play three consecutive days, beginning Saturday, Oct. 27 and running till Monday, Oct. 29. Fans are welcome and encouraged to attend. Free admission for all Air Force baseball events.

Both Saturday and Sunday's games will start at 12 p.m. and Monday starting at 3 p.m.

Coaching the Blue team will be assistant coach Adam Curynski and coaching the White team will be pitching coach Tim Dixon.

In game one, freshman right-hander Steven Trojan is slated to start on the mound for the Blue team and junior right-hander Cameron White will go for the White team.

Blue team coach Curynski is quite confident in his team coming out on top.

"My team is young and full of energy!" Curynski said. "We are going to play hardnosed baseball and try to out play them for nine innings. It will be a fun series."

White team coach Dixon was also optimistic about his team's chances.

"I like our team," Dixon said. "We have a lot of older guys and that experience will give us a good chance. I think our pitching experience will make the difference."

After the Blue/White series, the Falcons will wrap-up Fall Ball with a scrimmage at UNLV on Nov. 4.
