White Team Takes Game One of Blue-White Series Sunday

    The Air Force baseball Blue-White series kicked-off Sunday, Oct. 17 with the White team defeating the Blue 6-5 at Falcon Field. Senior catcher Parker Mayo hit a pair of home runs for the Blue team.

    Freshman right-hander Kyle Van Alstine picked up the win and sophmore right-hander Alex Baker got the save for the White Team. Sophomore Matt Zettler was charged with the loss despite not allowing any earned runs.

    Sophomore catcher/outfielder Garrett Custons led the White Team with three hits including a pair of doubles.

    Sophomore infielder Adam Hill, junior infielder Vincent Capra, and freshman outfielder Jordan Moore also had two hits each for the White team. Moore also hit an inside the park home run.

    Mayo led the Blue team with three hits, including two home runs. He also led his team with three RBI's.
