Air Force Baseball Concludes Fall Practices With Blue-White Series

    USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - The Air Force baseball program concludes its fall practices with the annual Blue-White series. The five game series begins Friday, Sept. 29 and concludes on Wednesday Oct. 4.

    Assistant coach Scott Marchand will be the head coach of the Blue team. The blue team is veteran-laden, featuring seven of the eight upperclassmen and led by senior first-baseman Karl Bolt.

    Assistant coach Maj. Mike Kazlausky will be the head coach of the White team. The white team, featuring the scrappy up-and-coming underclassmen will be led by junior catcher-pitcher Josh Meents.

    "We have all the young, gym-rat types that are hungry to make an impact on the White team," Kazlausky said. "We're looking to play the role of spoilers and I am confident that we will be able to take the series."

    The first game begins at 3 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 29. Game two takes place at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 1. The remainder of the games will be played on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday beginning at 3 p.m. All five games will take place at Falcon Field and are open to the public.
