Air Force Baseball Upgrades With New Scoreboard
Aug. 13, 2012
USAF ACADEMY, Colo.- Air Force baseball recently upgraded its home ballpark, Falcon Field, with the addition of a new scoreboard. The new scoreboard features LED technology, including a full color marquee for graphics capability. The scoreboard will make its debut during fall practices and be fully operational in time for the 2013 season. "It's a small but important step towards upgrading some of the amenities at Falcon Field," Falcon head coach Mike Kazlausky said. "The new scoreboard will enhance the fan experience in that they will be able to see what's going on in the game more clearly and we can provide more information with the addition of the marquee for future Air Force baseball events." The new scoreboard was made by the Daktronics company and will be operated through wireless telecommunications from the press box. The graphics capability will enable Falcon baseball the ability to display graphics, messaging, promotions, etc.
